Necks Best - Hastings, Eastbourne and Bexhill Laryngectomy Support Group

Open to anyone who has had a laryngectomy - families and friends welcome - practical advice given. We plan to meet the first Tuesday of alternative months. (currently the 'odd' months in Bexhill or Eastbourne). Next meeting 1st September in Bexhill, then 3rd November in Eastbourne.

With support from Macmillan and Sussex Cancer Network, the South East Coast Laryngectomy groups "Yakity Yak" and "Necks Best" have produced a video about communication, after total laryngectomy (surgical removal of the larynx). This video highlights good communication skills and can be used in training for anyone working with the public. You can view the video on You Tube and provide feedback here.
