Keith joined the Sussex Cancer Network in 2003 and working with Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and Pharmacy staff he has successfully led a number of initiatives to identify effective ways to improve service to cancer patients and maximize hospital resources. From 2007 to 2010 his primary role was project managing the installation and role-out of an Oncology Electronic Prescribing system across the Sussex Cancer Network.

Currently his service improvement and project management skills are being put to good use working with Tumour Groups and Oncology staff to improve Patient Pathways and Service Delivery; and his key piece of work is project managing the Cancer Risk Assessment Tool pilot involving over 200 GPs in 40 general practices throughout Sussex  

The cancer risk assessment tool has been developed to aid GP’s in early recognition of cancer and is being piloted in Sussex together with six other cancer networks.
