Urological cancers

Urological cancers include cancer of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testis, penis or urethra.  Most people with these cancers are men, but women can get cancer of the bladder, kidney and urethra.

Your health professionals will be urology specialists and you will be treated in the hospital urology department.

It is important to know which type of cancer you are looking for information on. If you are not clear ask your consultant, clinical nurse specialist or keyworker.

Please refer to the correct page on our website for further specific information.

You can visit the NHS Choices website for information on cancer support groups in your area
